A recent Power Hour in action

To give you a clearer idea of what can be achieved in just one focused hour, here’s an example of how a Power Hour helped one family rethink their plans with confidence before moving forward with a major renovation.

Case study: planning a family-focused kitchen with The Power Hour

When our customer revisited plans for a long-awaited home extension, one thing became clear: the kitchen needed to be more than functional - it had to become the centrepiece of daily life.

On the Power hour video call we reimagined plans for an extension to create a bright, flowing, family-focused space. Poor circulation, cramped dining areas, and a dark kitchen were transformed into a light filled, open-plan environment with seamless movement from kitchen to dining to relaxed family zones.

In the kitchen we were able to identify innovative solutions such as hidden utility access, integrated appliances, and flexible storage to keep the space calm and clutter-free. In the remaining space through thoughtful furniture planning we were able to accommodate a piano, record player, and children’s play areas without compromising style.

The result is a kitchen-led extension that feels spacious, connected to the garden, and perfectly tailored for modern family living. Turning a once fragmented layout into a confident, contemporary home at its best.

This is what the customer had to say after their Power Hour session:

"Thank you so much for your time yesterday and sending the plans through so quickly. It’s really appreciated and we are super excited about the plans!"
