By purchasing a Package or Power Hour, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

General

  • The following terms and conditions will apply between you (the Client) and The Living House Interiors Ltd when you buy services from The Living House. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

  • No contract will exist between you and The Living House Interiors Ltd until a confirmation email is sent after payment is received.

  • As the Client you must provide your postcode, phone number, email address, and name. You will also take a questionnaire (to help us determine your preferred design styles), provide us photos of your space, and provide us additional information about your room and project. According to the package selected you will also have a phone call or preferably an online chat with your designer. The designer will then provide you suggestions for your space as well as a shopable list of products.

  • You confirm that all details you provide to The Living House Interiors Ltd for services are accurate, up to date and complete.

  • By purchasing a service, you agree it will be used for your own private or domestic use only and is not for resale.

  • You must be 18 or over to use this service. If you are under 18, you may only use this service with the agreement of, and under the supervision of, a parent/guardian.

  • A video call to commence the project (or multiple projects if bought at the same time) must be booked within a year of the purchase date, otherwise you will be subject to any price increases that may have happened during that year.

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd reserves the right to change prices of any service at any time. 

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd does not accept liability (except as shown below) for any errors and/or omissions contained in our website and also reserves the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of any listed products and services without notice. 

  • If an error is found in the price of the services that you’ve ordered, The Living House Interiors Ltd will tell you promptly. We won’t be under any obligation to fulfil an order for a service that was advertised at the incorrect price.

Payment

  • Payment needs to be received before your designer commences work. 

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd currently uses third parties to process payments. Our third-party payment processors accept payments through various credit and debit cards, as detailed on the applicable payment screen. 

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd reserves the right to end any agreement with you if you fail to make payment or if you break any of the T’s and C’s.

  • If you have bought a package but then wish to cancel, you must inform The Living House Interiors Ltd by email within 24 hours of payment being made. You will be refunded within 7 days.

  • If you have bought a package but then wish to change it, you must inform The Living House Interiors Ltd by email within 24 hours of payment being made. After this date changes cannot be guaranteed as work on your design idea may have started.

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd may offer any Client a full refund at The Living House’s discretion. Please email hello@thelivinghouse.co.uk to request a refund.

The Design

  • The design The Living House Interiors Ltd provides is based on the measurements given by you, the Client. We cannot guarantee floorplan or 2D render accuracy. They are to be used for illustration purposes only. Check all measurements before you make any purchases as we cannot be held responsible.

  • The design The Living House Interiors Ltd provides is a recommendation only. We will provide details of where to buy but cannot be held responsible for changes in price, stock issues and accuracy of this information.

  • The packages will include links to third party websites and applications. You are responsible for evaluating whether you want to access or use them. We are not responsible for and do not endorse any features, content, advertising, products, or other materials on other websites or applications. You assume all risk and we disclaim all liability arising from your use of them.

  • It is up to you, the Client, to implement the designs.

  • Retailer website images and descriptions are not always accurate. The actual colour may vary from the image or information may be missing or incorrect. 

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd is not responsible for the Client’s orders with retailers.

  • Delivery charges are not included on the shopping list.

  • The Living House Interiors Ltd shall not have any liability to you for any delay in the delivery of services ordered or any other matters to which the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and other similar events.

  • We do not offer bathroom sanitaryware design or kitchen redesign/planning. Bathroom and kitchen design packages are for styling items only. 

  • The packages will not include any unrelated finishes or fixtures unless specified e.g. paint finishes for woodwork, carpet underlay, light switches.

  • Wallpaper, fabric, flooring and paint prices are per item, not an estimate of the total needed.

  • The budget given to us should not include the cost of any work needed e.g. carpet fitting, decorating, electrical work.

  • Design dossiers will be emailed in around 14 days of your video call unless you've purchased a fast track service, in which case it will be emailed within 5 working days.

  • We want you to be happy with the design first time, however if needed we can make tweaks to the original design, providing it remains within the initial confirmed brief.

  • To the best extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the services. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer, neither does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.

  • Once the Design Dossier has been sent to the Client, the agreement between The Living House Interiors Ltd and the Client ends.

Marketing/Advertising

  • Your design idea may be displayed on social media and our website for advertising unless otherwise stated by you.

  • If we use your design for advertising purposes on our website or social media, please note that we will reference the retailers used, unless otherwise stated by you.

Your Privacy

  • At The Living House Interiors Ltd we are committed to maintaining your privacy. Our privacy policy statement is shown below. Any changes that are made to this privacy policy will be notified to you by updating this statement here.

  • INFORMATION WE COLLECT - Our online contact form and questionnaire will ask for your name, email address and which service you require. Your telephone number is collected for your video call. If you have instructed our services a design brief will be completed collecting information regarding the property in question, lifestyle, preferences and photos.

  • WHAT THIS DATA IS USED FOR - Your data will enable us to fulfil the service you have requested, to notify you about important functionality changes, record keeping and for statistical or survey purposes to improve our website and our services to you. Occasionally we may also send you (by email or text) information about services and details of promotions and special offers from The Living House. If you do not wish to be contacted for these purposes, you can inform us about your marketing preferences by sending an email to us in writing with “unsubscribe” in the subject heading.

  • INFORMATION WE SHARE WITH OTHERS - One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the IMRG Security Alert or any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. We may also disclose specific information upon governmental request, in response to a court order, or when required by law to do so. We may also share information with companies assisting in fraud protection or investigation. We DO NOT provide information to these agencies or any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

  • We will ensure your information is secure. We have in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

  • In the event of a data breach, we shall ensure that our obligations under applicable data protection laws are complied with where necessary.
