If you have been reading our blogs and following us for a while, then you’ll know that we love using rugs in our design schemes. They can instantly transform a space and of course the bigger the better! Whether you need to add texture or pattern to liven up your space, a rug can be the perfect solution.
We always recommend going for the biggest size you can. If the rug is in your living room make sure it sits under the front feet of the sofa. Or if it’s underneath your dining table, choose a rug that is much larger creating almost a border around the table. Opting for a larger rug can make the space feel bigger. So often we see a rug which is too small for the room and it can look like it is floating in the middle - which is definitely not using the rug to it’s best advantage!
